IN ORLANDO AT THE FAIR GROUNDS LINK-IT REMAINS PRACTICALLY UNCHANGED The best game of the season in this vicinity will be played next Thursday | morning at -J <): 30, when Rollins and \ Carlslrom get together on the Fair grounds at Orlando. While little is known of the makeup of the Aviators' team, It is safe to say that they have * strong bunch, hecause of their victory over the Florida Reserves. The Rollins team will be at their best for that game and if the weather conditions are right and no.tWng unexpected happens, Rollins' supporters and others who attend the game may rest assured that they will see a good brand of modern football. Carlstrom will undoubtedly outvveight Rollins many pounds to the man, hut weight is no longer of first consideration in football and it will not worry Rollins. The line-up for Rollins will be: Robbins and Palmer, ends; Evans and H. Thayer, tackles; Warner and Williams, guards; C. Ward, center; R. Wright, quarter; Capt. Boyle and Proemke, halves, and Dow at full. Cotting may possibly be in shape to play part of the game at right tackle. Dr. Ward's life-long devotion and great and invaluable service to Rollins has given him a very large place in the hearts of all tho^e who are supporters of the college. His return will have an in?pinthg effect on the present and future of Rollins. Miss Jean Knowlton to Sing in Knowles Hall Miss Jean Knowlton, head of the Voice Department of Rollins Conservatory, will make her first appearance before the students of the college and |the people of Winter Park, on Mon- day evening, November 22, at Knowles Hall. (\ Qtrlfl 1'iovc Themselves I'itie Hostesses The second annual meeting of the Florida Collegiate Press Association was held at the Florida States College for Women at Tallahassee, Monday, November 6, with'but one member present, Warren Ingram, as editor of The Sandspur, represented the paper at the meeting; The Southern was represented by F. r. Bridges, an associate editor. One of the principal things accomplished at the meeting was the final working over and adoption of the constitution which \>ras submitted in tentative form at the first meeting of the association last, sear at Rollins. The first matter brought before the assembly was the election of officers for (he ensuing ear and resulted as follows: President, Marie Bryan, editor of the flambeau, F. S. W. C; vice-presi- lent, Warren M. Ingram, editor of The Sandspur, Rollins, and secretary- reasurer, J. R. McLeod, editor of the Southern, Southern College.
